After a night full of magic and amazement Emma gets trapped inside of the circus she was visiting. She comes across many characters while trying to get out of the magical place, she also crosses paths with Ben who then tries to help her get out.

The characters in this book were all amazing, each very easy to like. Although the writing style isn’t very neat the book still manages to indulge the reader almost instantly, though i wish they told us more about Emma and Ben because I couldn’t really fathom their romance with such less background story.

Nonetheless, if you loved Caraval and The Night Circus then this is the book for you 😍💕

This book follows our main character Merit who has a hobby of collecting trophies she’s never earned for every embarrassing moments in her life and she has a HUGE collection. Merit Voss comes from a very imperfect crooked family. Well know for their tantrums in the entire town. She lives in re-purposed church with her parents, step mom, step brother, her real brother Utah and her twin sister Honor. One day while collecting a trophy she comes across a guy who instantly takes her breathe away, Sagan. She soon comes to awkwardly realize that he is her twin sisters boyfriend. While we follow merit as she deals with her dysfunctional families deeps dark web of secrets, we are also shown some dark sides of Merit herself. One day Merit decides to give up and exposes the secrets the family has been too afraid to speak out loud about and so, all hell breaks loose.

There are soo many topics Hoover brought to light in this book, we’ve seen her change course from cuddly romance to talking about mental illness, abuse, sexuality and even refugee crises. However, these are way too many topics for just one book. There wasnt enough room to discuss such important topics and so it felt a bit incomplete. I do love that shes trying, i loved how she completely packed and highlighted just one single topic in her previous book ‘It ends with us’. Nonetheless i highly recommend this book to everyone, its about everything important that needs to be talked about at this time and i personally believe YA readers would LOVE it.

Alright guys, this book took me by surprise. I heard only good reviews about this book and it actually did live up to its hype 👍🏻 but woah, the plots twists and all that suspense. LOVED the romantic chemistry ✨ the only con about this book are that his name was SASHA and that it had this major cliffhanger! 😭 other than that AMAZING BOOK @anniewoodsauthor ! ❤️

.

Definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves Contemporary, romance and YA books ✨
